This place was perfection! Pam's place was the perfect place that felt like home away from home and was a great location. Close to food and local breweries, as well as the local National Parks office which was nice for the most updated info about the Redwoods National and State Parks. Seaquake and Port o Pints brewing were delicious, and the locals were so friendly. The Apple Peddler and CC Diner & Ice Cream were great breakfast and Iunch spots, not far from the airbnb.
The location made for a fun day trip down to Klamath and back to explore local nature around the area. Crescent Beach was a short drive away and a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. We loved cuddling up next to the wood fire stove with local brews in hand after a day of hiking the local red woods.

When you walk to the door you’re greeted with a cheerful energy, and when you open the door you feel like you walked into a designer magazine cover that’s a 3D interactive experience!
Lovely and stylish, with all the local guide books and maps, and fully stocked kitchen ~ spices and oils to oatmeal and even cook books!
What is even more impressive then this warm and cheerful home is Pam herself. She is truly a remarkable host ~

What an incredible place. Pam’s Getaway is gorgeous; beautifully decorated with eclectic art and attention to comfort: warm wood ceilings, colorful ceramic tiles, faux fur on the beds and beautifully folded warm-toned towels. Every buttery leathered chair was calling to me to sit and relax! I arrived after a long day of driving and the soaking tub, complete with jets, eased my sore muscles and the espresso machine happily got me started on my next day of travels. Pam provided incredibly detailed check-in instructions beforehand and inside the Getaway were laminated reminders and “how-to” instructions in addition to the welcome booklet…much appreciated. Next time I’m staying longer. Highly recommended!

Truly enjoyed our stay at this colorful little gem. Fun eclectic decor with a well appointed kitchen. Good location with easy access to Redwoods as well as the beautiful coastline in Crescent City.

As an Airbnb host, this is a listing I strongly recommend. The space was comfy and cheerful even better than pictured. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked beyond expectation.
